ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I was diagnosed with endometriosis when I was 14 and crohns disease when I was 21. Chronic pain has been my life for many years. After 4 surgeries and countless procedures and tests, I am told my crohns is inactive and MRI shows no endometriosis, yet I still have pain. I am experiencing many neurological symptoms and am scheduled for a electromyogram and skin biopsy for nerve testing. The sever chronic fatigue makes everyday life difficult despite getting supplemental vitamin B12 and B6. Sometimes I cant eat, sometimes I cant poop, sometimes I cant stop pooping. I dont empty my bladder fully even after pelvic floor physical therapy. I have hand tremors and numbness and tingling in my extremities. I struggle to stay awake during the day and struggle to fall asleep at night without medication but I can often sleep for upwards of 12 hours at a time. In the past 5 years I have seen many doctors and no one can seem to explain anything definitively to me. All I do is symptom management which does not include pain management by medication.
