Constant daily headache for over 12 years. Pressure all over my head. Vision loss and changes. Ringing in ears. Detached retina. Lightheaded
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Started having sever daily headaches around 13 years old, now 27. I've had all the scans and bloodwork everything is mostly normal. I've had previous high blood pressure. In 2013 I detached my retina. A few years ago I was diagnosed with pseudotumor cerebri or intracranial hypertension, which I have most of the symptoms for but I have had several doctors tell me they don't think I have that, but are unsure what is wrong. My headaches feel like a balloon is blowing up inside of my head and like my eyeballs are going to pop out. I'm very sensitive to the light even when my head pain isn't terrible. I've tried caffeine/no caffeine. Diet changes and losing weight, which is what most doctors suggest, but I've had no changes. When I was pregnant about a year ago my head pain did lighten up a bit. I've seen several doctors, several neurologists, ophthalmologists, optometrists, neuro-ophthalmologists, and more.
