- CASE FILE
My 16 year old daughter has a couple of diagnosis. She lives with pain daily even with all the medication she takes she is now home bound.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Undiagnosed abdominal pain since she was about 7, she then had terrible anger fulled tantrums and was diagnosed with depression, she was finally diagnosed with Pancreas Divisum and provided medication, she then began having indigestion & heart burn with every meal and even water, she was diagnosed with Crohn's, she's on a lot of medication, she's also seeing a psychiatrist and counselors and on two antidepressants with diagnosis of depression, anxiety and PTSD, she then was on contraception to regulate her menstral cycle and help reduce her cramping and abdominal pain. She then was diagnosed with endometriosis. The contraception is no longer working so even being on it she still has a irregular long lasting menstrual cycle. She is in pain daily even with all her medications, she's now home bound due to her pain and fatigue. The gynecologist we have seen seem to not know enough about endometriosis and refer her to specialist and the medication for the Crohn's seems to be so much for her to still have so much pain, the depression is overwhelming since she's in constant pain.
