ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Why are you seeking help? I have been unable to find the answer to why I am in Pain.
Where do you feel pain or discomfort? Right abdomen and flank
How have your medical issues impacted your life? Yes, they have kept me from doing the things that my family and I enjoy doing unless I am on opioids and I have stopped taking opioids due to the chance of addiction.
Have you seen any medical professionals and what did they say? I have seen possibly 15 doctors and they have given all kinds of diagnosis from Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver disease to abdominal wall pain syndrome. The very first action that happened was I tore my oblique on the right side. after about two months there came a large lump where the pain began to form. Just under my ribs, the original diagnosis was a herniated oblique and the surgeon I was working with at the time had me go to the ER to get a cat scan with a dye and then have them admit me for surgery the next day. When we had the cat scan done the Radiologist said he saw nothing and they sent me home. Now I have had my gall bladder removed, an exploratory surgery, a DRG Neuro stimulator ut in my back, had that removed and am about to have a second one placed to try and control the pain.
Have you taken any medicine? Gabapentin, Lyrica, Oxycodone, Hydromorphone
Have you engaged in any treatments or procedures? DRG Neuro Stimulator, acupuncture, sports therapy.
