- CASE FILE
Terrible pain in my SI joints that will not go away. Sometimes affects the front of my pelvic bones as well.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My "diagnosis" is Osteitis Condensans Ilii, which I've been told is just a radiologist term. And it shouldn't hurt. However, I have suffered with pain in my SI Joints for over 15 years. It is a constant feeling of my joints being stuck. I want to crack this area to release the pressure, but I can't. I've often described it as if you took in the largest inhale you could, and then held it - without being able to exhale (but in my SI Joint). It burns all the time. I can tell it's NOT muscle, but so much deeper. Over the last 15 years, I have tried Chiropractic, Massage, Pain/Steriod Injections, Accupuncture, Cupping, Physical Therapy, Medial branch blocks, and numerous medications (Tramadole, Cyclobenzaprine, meloxicam, Vimovo, Duexis, Cymbalta, Gabbapentin). Last year, I begged to be approved for the medical marijuana card, for which I was approved. It doesn't help me rid the pain.
Nothing has helped me and a large group of (mostly women) on a facebook group. (Osteitis Condensans Ilii) We suffer every day without a cure or without hope of being diagnosed with what really causes this pain.
