- CASE FILE
I am a 44yo white female w/chronic pain & fatigue. I have a diminished quality of life due to these conditions which limit daily activities.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I have been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and I have spurs growing all over my body. I have a labral tendon tear in my R hip. I have severe pain in the R side of my back and R rib area that no one can diagnosis. I have "the spine of an 80yo" per a doctor. I take over 10 medications/day with minimal relief. I am not able to do any activities other than work. I can't enjoy my life due to ongoing pain and fatigue. I have tried infusions, injections, physical therapy, chiropractic care, etc. with very little relief. I am unable to clean my house or do other chores due to limited ROM, pain, and fatigue. The majority of my pain seems to center around my back issues. My depression and anxiety have increased with the limited ability to participate in "fun" activities, etc. I have several skin conditions that doctors can't seem to diagnose. I have water blisters that appear on my hands and feet and itch severely and then pop leaving open sores and eventually scars. I also have severe redness and itching of my hands and feet and they also become hot to the touch. My face also gets very flushed and hot to the touch but no one can seem to diagnose this either. I have researched both on the internet and believe that I have erythromelalgia as well as dyshidrotic eczema. I unfortunately can't find a doctor to treat these and have continued issues with both. I have severe headaches that don't appear to be migraines. My overall quality of life has diminished greatly over the past 5-10 years since all of the above symptoms started. I am adopted so I have no family history to pull from when I do see a doctor.
