- CASE FILE
I have a laundry list of unexplained symptoms that started last summer. I have gone to 7 different specialist and still don't have answers.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Last summer I went for a CT scan of my abdomen and bladder due to bladder pain. The doctor determined that my bladder pain was caused by bladder spasms but also found lesions on my spleen. I also started wheezing and was sent for a chest x-ray. The chest x-ray showed nodules in my lungs. In the span of two months I became extremely fatigued and gained 25 pounds. I started to go into short brain fogs similar to ocular migraines and kept having upper left abdominal spasms when I bent over. I also have barrett's esophagus, PCOS and severe atrophy of my left kidney that only functions at about 15%. Doctors were never able to determine what caused the atrophy. Some of my symptoms calmed down during the winter but have flared up again worse this time. In addition to the brain fogs, extreme fatigue, abdominal pain and weight gain, I am now suffering with edema and unexplained arm and leg bruising. I can easily gain 10 pounds in one day even being on lasix. I have seen a hematologist, urologist, neurologist, pulmonologist, gynecologist, nephrologist and a gastroenterologist and no one is able to tell me what caused/is causing this issue.
