ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
May of 2010 I had brain surgery to remove a ruptured Dermoid Cyst from the frontal lobe, at which point a titanium (non allow) plate was put in. I have had multiple MRI's with contrast before and after surgery. After surgery I was on a couple rounds of steroids. 3 months after surgery I started to have pain in both knees and the thigh muscle just above the knees, these are my most pressing of symptoms. There are other symptoms that come and go including:
Joint Popping (Painful, not the fun kind)
Random leg hair loss that grows back
Lower abdominal pain prior to BM
Arms and legs fall asleep easily
Rib pain that effects breathing
Restless Leg Syndrome
Pain lasts longer
Body wide electric buzzing
Everyones hands/feet cold to the touch
I have been to multiple doctors, including rheumotologists, allergists, physical therapists and pain specialists. They all run the same tests with no conclusions or diagnosis.
I currently take Zyrtec twice a day and Benadryl as needed to be able to function.
Some other findings that help relieve the symptoms:
Lowering body temp below 97 degrees
A possible theory is that I have a titanium allergy but haven't been able to find a dr willing to test me for it.
