ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I have been diagnosed with secondary chronic hypertension. I have spent many days in ICU having tests, and scans performed. Unmedicated BP runs 280/160, every single day, no matter what. I am currently on medication, and controlled I have an average BP readings of 150/110. I am almost 40 and have battled this for a while. I have a wonderful husband of nearly 20 years, and 6 young children. My days are plagued by debilitating headaches, constant kidney pain, trouble urinating and swelling. Every Doctor or Specialist I see has just determined they have no idea what drives my body to produce such a high blood pressure. 2 years ago I was diagnosed with Renal Cell Carcinoma and had a tumor removed from my right kidney. But this seems to have no effect on my blood pressure.
