Started having abdominal pain that spread to my back when i was 19-20 and i had xray, colonoscopy and ct scan they found kidney stones and had lithotripsy. Issues persisted and pain in that area seemed to worsen. Was working full time while going to collage surviving off opiates. At the age of 24 symptoms worsened even more, i found myself unable to be on my feet longer then a few hours without being in extreme pain. At this point i was taking methadone for pain but it wasn't helping so i stopped taking that & all opioids. At 30 neurological issues started and over the years have intensified. A neurologist had me get a ct scan on my spine everything was normal. Pain center had me get a function test on my liver everything came back normal. I saw a physiatrist who looked over my past tests and the information from past doctors and he told me there was nothing he could do. The last thing that was suggested was that i get accepted into mayo clinic.
