Over a dozen Drs have no clue what is causing lymph node inflammation and pain with a constant sore throat. Can't get any answers, help pls!
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Semicircular canal dehiscence surgery bilaterally has left me with constant red sore throat and lymph node inflammation and pain for over 2 years following surgery for Semicircular Canal Dehiscence with a subsequent staph infection. Over 12 Drs have no idea or desire to research or help. Many MRIs and CT scans, blood work and appts with wasted time and money. There are dizzy spells,BP has dropped, medications help with nausea but no answers. Missing work and missing out on life is depressing and the tinnitus is driving me crazy not to mention constant pain. I have researched the symptoms but the Drs seem to dismiss anything that doesn't fit in their specialty. Been told pharyngeal neuropathy, neuropathy, inflammation, neck and auxiliary lymphadenopathy and given anti seizure medication which doesn't help but no answers as to the cause of it. It is driving me crazy. An infectious disease Dr even said I'm a medical mystery yet gave no ideas, testing or help. One ENT even removed my tonsils to no avail. I am truly desperate.
