ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Im seeking help for a progressive crippling neurological condition. Diagnosed with migraines at 7. Severe Neuropathy hands and feet in my early 30s, 4 failed surgeries in my arms to relieve the neuropathy in my hands, pedal neuropathy now extends up to the knee, bilateral vocal cord paralysis 2013. One year ago I was functional and active to an extent because of the neuropathy. I began having pressure in my head and that progressed to vision problems, hearing problems, one side of my mouth is swollen/ thickened, sudden full body weakness, falling, dizziness, dementia with severe headaches, and these symptoms are 24/7. I am never symptom free now and I'm being cared for by my partner. 2 months ago I was diagnosed with chiari malformation 1. I've seen several neurologists that say it's the chiari and several neurosurgeons that say it's migraines. I'm being sent back and forth. I live in an area where doctors are few so each dr visit and each test is 4 hours away one way. My appointments are weeks and months apart except when I'm in the hospital. Something is slowly killing me.
