- CASE FILE
After having my gallbladder removed in 2014 I have had issues with my abdomen. It is grossly extended and feels like its full all the time.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Painful distended abdomen, actually looks like I am 9 months pregnant, had full gastro work up, everything was clear other than a hiatal hernia . Had my gallbladder out in 2014, was discharged with my right leg completely numb, 2 months later was diagnosed with neuromyelitis Optica that must have been triggered by either the flu shot or something at the hospital. Went through physical therapy and plasma pheresis which helped regain the use of my leg. My abdomen is still grossly distended and my appetite has changed as well as my sleep. It almost feels like concrete. No one can figure out what is going on. I was told to excercise more, change my diet, etc.
