- CASE FILE
I have been having constant, dibilitating, neck pain for 13 years. It never goes away! Now I am having eye pain and headaches.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
The pain started as what seemed like a headache in 2006. I've seen doctor after doctor and no one can figure out why I have chronic severe neck pain. I've had multiple MRIs, CT scans, X-rays, physical therapy, and a spinal tap. None of which were able to solve the mystery. I was eventually sent to pain management by my primary care physician, but I don't want pain meds that don't work anyway, plus I'm not interested in medicine. Over the 13 years the symptoms have become more severe and moved from just neck pain to weakness in both arms, eye pain, and headaches. I also am unable to sleep, get comfortable, or enjoy my life. The neck pain at base level on the pain scale stays at an 8, it gets worse but never falls below the baseline 8. I am in constant pain every day all day and no one can tell me what is going on.
