- CASE FILE
I suddenly developed extreme fatigue no matter how many hours I slept over 2 years ago. I can sleep for 14 hours a day with no relief.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I was right in the middle of college when a large infection took over. I managed to get over it with a hospital stay, surgery, and heavy antibiotics. After this, I realized I was sleeping 12 or more hours every night and I was still tired during the day. I thought it would go away before my Junior year of college started but it hasn’t gone away since. I can sleep from 11pm until 1:30pm the next day with little relief. If I don’t get enough sleep at night due to the responsibilities of the day, I come home and take a nap up to 6 hours. I feel like I have no energy. I miss out on activities I want to do because I can’t wake up enough to go or even at all. I’ve had blood drawn too many times to count, I’ve had a CT scan, a sleep study, I’ve seen countless specialists that give me nothing. I just want to have the energy needed to live my life. I don’t want to sleep my life away.
