ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I have numerous doctors for 10 years. All with different diagnoses. I am off balance, shake 24/7, and my body shakes to the rhythm of my heartbeat. I have trouble holding up my head without it shaking. Its like a bobble head doll. I have been given medications for vertigo, seizures, tremors and anxiety, none of which work, since I do not have any of these. Mayo says I have cervical dystonia.. I was given Botox in my neck, and they made it worse. They said they could not help me. Shands says it is NOT cervical dystonia, says that everyone has minimal shaking to their heartbeat. They said mine is more accute. They also thought I should get on anxiety medication, even though I don't have anxiety. I have had MRIs, CT scans, and balance testing. All are negative. I am not able to work full time any longer, since it is too difficult to concentrate and hold up my neck. IHowever another person cannot physically see me shaking unless I am lying down. The symptoms are worse if I am watching tv and have my head up against the sofa. I wish I could live a normal life again. I am constant discomfort 24 hours a day. It never stops.
