ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My mom has been diagnosed with Sarcoidosis, Fibromyalgia, Chronic Kidney disease, Labrythitis/ Benign Positional Vertigo, Osteoarthritis, Map Dot Syndrome (eyes), IBS, Primary Biliary Cirrhosis. Her greatest struggles come from the Sarcoidosis and Fibromyalgia. Sarciodosis has been found in liver (currently in remission) and kidneys. She has 9 specialists and been on as many as 13 different medications at a time to try to manage her symptoms. She has been taking Prednisone for over 5 years and has been told that she will never come off it completely. Her kidney function continues to decline, she has had a significant decline in appetite, with equally significant weight gain. She is in so much pain that she can barely walk without assistance of a walker and often uses a wheelchair.
