ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I am diagnosed with chiari malformation. Post decompression I still have a small herniation and a pocket of fluid but no post surgery mri of my whole brain. My cervical spine is completely straight and I have a lot of hyper mobility. My legs are abnormal with my knees turning in causing the only comfortable way for me to stand is with my feet turned out. I constantly feel like a bobble head and am always dizzy. I get numbness and tingling in my face specifically my cheeks. I can’t tilt my head back without the room spinning and going black. I have severe lower back pain. My hips and knees hurt horribly all the time. I get random cramps on my calves and feet/toes. I had exercise induced asthma which developed into severe asthma after my surgery. I have trouble swallowing. It feels like when you try to swallow then swallow immediately after. I literally choke on air. Sometimes I can’t lift my feet enough and I’ll trip and stumble Over nothing. I have horrible constipation and bloating even with miralax. I’m sure I’ve forgotten stuff but this is most of the main stuff.
