Burning head nerve pain caused by chiropractic adjustment complicates years of chronic daily headaches/migraines mot caused by meningiomas.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My main concern is the burning head nerve pain that starts at the base of the skull every since a chiropractic adjustment just over a year ago. I've had chronic daily headaches since I was a teenager. Later developed migraines in my thirties and now neuralgia in my fifties. Never a day goes by without head pain. Increases as the day goes by. Pain relievers don't touch it. Topical pain relievers, tens, ice provide minimal relief. Tried amitriptyline, lamotrigine. Propranolol, dry needling, botox injections and low dose naltrexone along with herbs, supplements, traction, message and infrared heat. I still work but with difficulty. Every day gets harder to function. Fatigue makes it difficult to drive and sometimes I feel like my brain switches off for a second and I may collapse. One Dr. Online suggested possible cranial spinal fluid leak. Not sure how to pursue that without a doctor rolling their eyes because I sought help on the internet. But no doctor has helped me this far. I literally walk about with ice tied on my head most days. Sleep on an icepack. Have to pack icepacks with me wherever I go. Can't enjoy anything anymore.
