ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I joined the army in 2013 and was medically discharged in 2018. Before joining I was in great health and physical shape. Within my first two years my health began to go downhill. I started having heart palpitations often and on a daily basis especially while trying to sleep. I went to doctors and had my heart looked at and they couldn’t find anything wrong. So they assumed it was anxiety and put me on medication for that. After several months of trying the anxiety medicine i continued to have palpitations and chest pains. I just tried to fight through it and ignore it. After a while I went to a cardiologist and the ran test and still never found anything. Still saying it’s anxiety. Now I’m getting aggravated. I started having palpitations now when I eat so I had to start writing down when it happens and what I had eaten to start cutting things out that I was eating and drinking. Now I’m having issues with my left leg swelling and throbbing but I went to the hospital and was told I have no blood clots or anything abnormal. The swelling and throbbing has been going on for 6 months now and continue to get worse as time goes on. I’m 29 and have 3 daughters and I’m frustrated and scared I’m not going to live to be able to walk them down the aisle one day.
