- CASE FILE
I’m a 35 year old female who has been dealing with this for 6 years. I can’t keep living this way. Doctors are stumped.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I am unable to do daily activities without pain or feeling tired. I feel like I’m slowly dying. Losing ability to use my right arm. (Muscle weakness, tingling, pins and needles from shoulder to fingers) Shoulder joint, elbow and wrist very painful. Losing grip in right hand from the pain. My leg muscles get weak and sore easily. I have dysphasia, stomach pains, shortness of breath, dizziness, blurred vision, occasional nausea. I eat but I have lost 10lbs without trying. I have been checked for MS, lupus, lymphoma, Lyme disease, and cat scratch fever. I did have positive ANA and elevated anti-RNP which my rheumatologist states that indicates autoimmune but we haven’t found what autoimmune. I can’t continue to live like this. Each day is getting worse. I’ve tried eliminating things from diet. I’m currently on neurotin, plaquenil and muscle relaxer as needed. I refuse to take pain meds as I do not want to become addicted but I’m at my whits end. I’m losing my relationship (fiancé and friends) due to constantly being sick or in pain. I’m on my second round of physical therapy. I just want answers.
