- CASE FILE
Two years of chronic pain in left side of my neck, back and side that spreads to the left upper abdomen and dizzy spells
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Two years ago I experienced numbness on the left side of my body and my hand turned purple. We found a blood clot in a superficial vein in my left arm. I was also tested and was positive for factor v lieden mutation. I have pain in my left arm, neck, and side. I've had numerous MRIs, blood tests, and CT scans, but everything comes back normal. I experience dizziness that almost causes me to pass out. There is swelling in my left arm and hand. There is a knot in my side that if pressed on causes shooting pain down my arm. I have another knot in my neck and if pressed there is shooting pain to my head. My arm and hand swell typically overnight and it's very painful after I wake up. Once I begin moving around the pain typically subsides. I feel off most of the time, meaning I feel confused and dazed. When I try to sleep it feels like there is throbbing in my head. I've been sent to neurologists, hematologists, cardiologists, endocrinologist, and gastrointerologist. I am tired of feeling awful every day and no answers.
