ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
May 11, 2018 my daughter was admitted to the hospital with extreme pain her lower abdomen on the right side. Her blood tests were very irregular too. They stabilized her enough for her to go home. Her platelets run a little high. We’ve seen a hematologist, two different GI doctors, a gynecologist and our primary. The GI doctor we’re seeing now is doing another colonoscopy November 8. The first attempt didn’t work. She’s in pain all the time. The GI doctors don’t prescribe pain meds. Our primary won’t anymore because he feels that if something is going to burst she needs to be able to feel that. She’s had cat scans and ultrasounds. She’s only 21 and feels like her life is on hold because she can’t do anything because she’s just in too much pain.
