- CASE FILE
I have pulmonary and lymph Sarcoidosis. It affects mostly my lungs and lymph nodes but it can and will attack any organ in my body.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I was diagnosed with pulmonary and lymph Sarcoidosis in March of 2017. It took doctor's 8 months to finally diagnose me. They kept telling me I had pneumonia and would send me home on antibiotics. It came to the point where I could not breathe and they finally did a CT-Scan and immediately admitted me to the hospital. My Sarcoidosis had attacked my gallbladder and I had to have emergency surgery to have it removed. They were able to biopsy a lymph node and see that it was Sarcoidosis. There is no known cure for this very rare autoimmune disease and doctor's don't know how you get it. It is a medical mystery. I am stuck on Prednisone for the rest of my life to keep the granulomas at Bay. This disease is terrible to have and the pain is terrible to go through almost on a daily basis.
