I’m at my wits end. I have extreme daily (all day) dizziness for over 6 months now. Nothing helps. Nobody can figure it out. Please help.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I have been experiencing daily (all day) dizziness now since late February 2019. I wake up in the morning feeling fine and within an hour, the “dizziness” has overtaken me and doesn’t go away until I go to bed at night. There has not been one day where I have not been dizzy. It is a feeling like being motion sick which gives me some stomach nausea, but the room does not spin, and nothing is affected or changed if I move my head/position or if people walk by. I have seen an ENT, two oncologist/hematologists, ophthalmologist, naturopathic doctor, endocrinologist, cardiologist, neurologist, Orthopedic, and acupuncturist. I have had a brain MRI and CT scan, and a CT scan of the chest, pelvis, abdomen. I have had more blood tests than I can count, ruled out lupus, RA, endocrine system issues, cancers, and more. The only diagnosis I have that is unrelated to my symptoms is I am hypothyroid and I take armour thyroid medication for that. All my blood tests are NORMAL! All my scans have been NORMAL! All my heart monitor and carotid artery sonograms were NORMAL! Nobody has been able to figure our why I am dizzy every day. I have tried to take prescription medications (zofran) for dizziness/nausea - it didn’t help. I have taken Dramamine, Bonine, chewed ginger. Nothing works. Laying down doesn’t help. Doing nothing/resting doesn’t help. Exercising doesn’t help and the dizziness doesn’t change. I have been to multiple doctors as listed previously - nobody can figure anything out. I have been so frustrated, that I have gone to the ER, they did nothing. I am literally at my wits end...I try to do things and have a normal life, but I am miserable! It is like running a marathon every day to try and put on a “happy” face...it’s exhausting. My husband and family are so concerned and frustrated as they don’t know what to do; they are worried. I am a cancer survivor of stage 2 Hodgkin’s Lymphoma; diagnosed in 2009; treated in 2010 with chemotherapy and radiation; praise God, I am cancer free and supposedly the oncologists have ruled out any other types of cancer. All tests show that I am healthy, but I am SICK EVERY DAY!!! I just can’t take anymore and I need help. Please will somebody help me?!! I believe someone will be able to figure this out so I can wake up one day and the dizziness will not return. It’s a horrible way to live.
