tick bites, seizures, pain in joints, sores all over body, cannot get blood sugars down with insulin because of infections
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
in 2011 I was bitten by two ticks. Two weeks later I began running a very high fever at the same time every day, developed a full body rash, and got to where I could not walk. Since then I have gotten to where I am tired more, joint pain, developed seizures in 2015, and have days where it hurts to walk or move, but I push through it. I have lost a lot of weight since then (went from 240 pounds down to 135) some was on my own, but some was not. I have taken my insulin the way I am supposed to and even use the relion brand, but they will not go down to where they need to be with proper diet. In 2015 I could not move my neck and the doctor I saw thought I may have meningitis, but the hospital refused to do the testing she ordered to see, so we healed it through heat, ice, and rest. I have also had a spinal tap and slept through it and the doctor in the ER sent me home without a diagnosis. Everytime my husband would ask them if this had anything to do with tick bites. It is still concerning that I slept though that and od not remember it and I went to work the next day with the worst headache because I had no idea I had a spinal tap and had been in the ER, but my boss wanted me in and I came in. In early 2016 I was taking lamictal for seizures and developed shingles due to it. In late 2016 I began getting sores/lesions on my scalp and still get them to this day. I later began developing lesions on my back and then early 2017 they began to cover both of my legs, my arms, shoulders, upper back. They will go away for a few days and come back twice as bad. These lesions burn severely. Since all this my periodontal disease got worse and my teeth are beginning to fall out no matter how well I brush and how much I try to eat right. Some days I am bedridden where I cannot function and some days I force myself to push through so I can work and study. There are days I cannot focus. I have not had a seizure in awhile because I have done everything I can to find what causes them. I am not on seizure medications due to constant breakouts or mental issues I had with them. Since 2011 I have noticed my health declining and I need to get better for me, my husband, and my 9 year old daughter. I cannot take her swimming nor do many fun things that involves wearing a bathing suit due to my lesions. I have asked to be tested for lyme disease, but many doctors are not taking me seriously. On my blood tests that have been completed at local emergency room my basophils and eosinophils along with other white blood cells are always high, but i have never had a doctor tell me this I read the blood work. Right now I am taking baths with tea tree oil, baking soda, apple cider vinegar, and epsom salt twice a day, taking over 15 vitamins and minerals, and eating healthy. My quality of life is still declining and I feel I do not get taken seriously, so I have quit seeking help until today. The last time I saw a doctor I was put into the hospital and told lyme disease does not exist in Mississippi and if it did a person would not contract it twice. They placed me on doxy, but everything has gotten worse since then. The only reason I am still walking and moving is because I push and force myself to and not sure how much longer I can do this. As I am sitting here writing this the pain in my limbs, back, neck, and arms are severe and I am exhausted even though I have slept at least 8 hours. I truly need help and can't take this anymore, but I will continue pushing through no matter what.
