- CASE FILE
I have an unknown, undiagnosable, neurological ‘disease’ that presents with unbearable pain in my head, tongue, eyes, teeth, and much more.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
For over 4 years I have been afflicted by this terrible neuropathy. It presents with level 10+ pain, daily, if not hourly.
. Head pain (scalp, back of head, temples, everywhere)
Teeth pain (mostly upper rows, but not limited to them)
Ear pain (not ‘internal’ as in sinus blockage)
Old injuries or surgeries (both very limited) will present on a daily basis as if they were brand new pain. I relive my dislocated shoulder daily.
Intense ‘itching’ down my spine that radiates outward. It is actually the beginning of severe pain when the ‘itching’ starts.
The nerve pain is slowly spreading.
I have been seen by numerous neurologists including the Swedish Hospital in Seattle, and my file sent to The Mayo Clinic. No one can identify what I have, let alone help. My only resort is using hydrocodone and hydromorphone to TRY and relive the pain.
I was in the Air Force for 21 years, and have flown around the world with my last job, Warren Buffets Netjets, for 21 years also. I have never seen or heard of this. My MD jokingly tells me “George, you are one of the lucky 500 or 600 that has something similar”. Yeah me.
I know you folks can’t help, but it has been cathartic just writing.
