- CASE FILE
Past year and a half having constant recurring yeast infections regardless of medication & diet changes. I also get recurring chest pains.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I am 29 year old female who rarely got yeast infections, that is until the past 2 years where is has gotten worse and now every month I have one. I have changed my diet, taken medication, wearing breathable clothes, on multiple supplements, vitamins, and probiotics and no perfumes, detergents, or douching that would be causing it. I have tested negative for anything that may create constant yeast infections (HIV, diabetes, thyriod). The back of my tongue has a white coating that will not go away no matter how often I use my tongue scraper, drink water, etc. My toenails have developed a nail fungus and my two big toes no longer have nails but trying to grow. I do not take birth control and only take .5 mg of alprazolam for my anxiety. My primary care does not know what else it could be.
My endometriosis use to be extremely painful during/before menstruation and after having an IUD (for a month, my body did not like it and was removed) and birth control for 8 years it seems to be less severe but with in this past year my period use to last 7-8 days to then 5 days and now 2-3 days a month and irregular.
In this time amount of time I have been losing my scalp hair, which has become very thin and brittle. My pubic region grows in a pattern now. My memory is slipping on basic things (peoples names, numbers, where I put things, etc). I am constantly fatigued and worn out but still find the time to exercise and stay relatively in shape. I do not drink coffee or energy drinks and watch my caffeine, sugar and alcohol intake. My back and neck pain is constant even with cupping, deep tissue, and lidocaine shots to moderate the pain but I'm always in pain.
My dad has Rheumatoid arthritis but I did an test (ANAchoice R/ ANA MULTIPLEX WITH REFLEX TO DSDNA) but that was negative. My mother has no known issues.
I also have had a sharp chest pain on my left side under the breast area for the past 7 years that comes and goes. Nothing is wrong with my heart as I have seen an cardiologist twice and nothing was found. The only thing they said was Costochondritis but that would not cause the sharp stabbing pain in my breast area. It use to last a few seconds and over the years it has gotten more frequent and lasting longer, up to hours. EMTs said there was nothing they could do when an ambulance was called. It hurts worse when deep breathing or laying down during the episode. Afterwards its an dull achy feeling.
Please help me as I have exhausted all options and seen specialist who cannot figure it out.
