- CASE FILE
My health has been in limbo since 2013, since then a pacemaker has been placed, I've had neurological issues and mobility issues.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
In 2013 I was hospitalized and later diagnosed with sick sinus syndrome ( a heart condition usually diagnosed in elderly adults) I was 19. A pacemaker was later placed. Several months later I was in the hospital for facial swelling, at which time I was told I had an abnormal MRI and they believed I had MS. As the doctor said "your mri looks like it is from a 90 year old". I then began a journey with neurologists all of which had their own theories, none of which stuck. Migraines, balance issues, vision problems, hearing problems and chronic pain riddled my body for months and then "poof" I felt better. I stowed away the Walker and the cane and rejoined life. Several months later, my symptoms returned. I continued this up and down health swing indefinitely. I now deal with vertigo, heat intolerance, joint pain and weakness as well as my body randomly giving out and migraines that last for months. I often forget conversations and appointments immediately and I struggle with CONSTANT sensation of bugs crawling on my skin. I've been to many doctors and eventually they all dismissed me, as a hysterical woman. I need help. Desperately. It feels hopeless.
