ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My 16 year-old daughter (at the time) began having a Productive Cough starting in November 2016. Since she was an active, healthy teenager, I thought nothing of it. After several weeks without improvement, I made an appointment with her Pediatrician and she gave her some antibiotics and a steroid inhaler. Zoom forward to today (Summer 2019) my daughter is still coughing and has seen NUMEROUS Medical Specialists (FAMINLY MEDICINE, ENT, ALLERGY, PULMONARY, CARDIOLOGY, ENDOCRINOLOGY) and has had NUMEROUS Labs, Xrays, CT scans, Ultrasounds, etc. and we still have no answers to why she continues to have a Productive cough 24/7. She has a few other accompanying symptoms: Lack of menstruation, Rapid pulse, excessive sweating, high cholesterol and blood pressure, too, but it's the cough that is most disruptive to her quality of life.
