I've had debilitating GI issues since 2014. Unending nausea, spasms, bloating, constipation, fatigue, and brain fog. I've lost 50 lbs so far
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I have had intractable nausea since 2014 as my main symptom. I've had gi issues my whole life, but these last 5 years have been debilitating. Along with nausea, I also have chronic constipation with overflow diarrhea. Abdominal pain and cramps in my lower abdomen, and stomach spasms. I am always bloated looking 6 months pregnant. I suspect SIBO, but have not been tested. I have GERD, hiatal hernia, eczema. I have increased fiber, increased Fluid intake, had food allergy testing (nothing significant), and numerous EGD/ colonoscopies. I had 30 CT scans in the first 2 years. My weight has dropped from 183 to 125. I go into flares where I go into a vomiting cycle that can last for days. I've had a sigmoid colon resection for diverticulitis over a decade ago. I think my issues really kicked up after a C Diff infection (the bad strain of the 2). I lean towards IBD, but biopsies from past endoscopies have been negative. The eczema leads me towards that thought.
