ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Ive been diagnosed with Myofascial pain syndrome after having a botched hip surgery in which the surgeon severed a major spine stabilizing tendon. I developed adult onset scoliosis in the months following the surgery & have been experiencing widespread nonstop pain ever since. Any/all medical professionals I have been to do not know what to do as they have never seen a case like mine before. I have suggested trying to reconnect the tendon if possible or having the same tendon cut on the opposite side in order to relieve some of the pain/symptoms. Every doctor I go to says they do not know what to do or refers me to someone else who says the same thing. I have tried various forms of therapy and several medications and nothing helps. My parents & I have spent a fortune on appointments/treatments all which have been fruitless. I can not afford to continue to seek treatment on my own. Alcohol is the only thing that brings any slight temporary relief from the pain. I used to be in peak physical condition just before the surgery. It was supposed to be a simple labral repair, but a mistake was made & I have been hoping to die ever since.
