Daily bouts of nausea, chronic pain, depression, PTSD, MST, fatigue, a host of smaller issues and many guesswork diagnoses ....help
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Every day I am overcome with waves of nausea, which is followed by one or two sneezes. The scenario plays out 2-3 times within 10-15 min. I might have this occur any time of the day or evening. 1-5 scenarios in a day. I have had an upper GI and a swallowing test, to no avail annoy do a lower GI as I am too nauseated to accomplish the prep.
I also have bad mood swings, clinical depression, due to PTSD. I have chronic pain in a number of places for many reasons. I have bad short term recall. Had a stroke and a MI in 2001 and 2002 (due to taking Avandia for diabetes) and brain surgery for trigrminal neuralgia where it turned out to be an artery had completely wrapped itself around the nerve. That was fixed in 2002. I have had a small foot drop on my left side since the stroke and it will sometimes trip me. I use a cane, a walker or an electric chair, depending on the distance I plan to travel. I have had many head injuries and often misjudge and hit my head often these days.
I broke my head and my hip in a car wreck which left me a widow.
I fell down a flight of stairs and landed on my knees on a marble floor. My left knee had surgery. I have a hard time climbing stairs or cliff sides. My service dog died and he helped me with those things and more.
In 2003 I broke my shoulder in 5 places and tore off the muscle. They rebuilt it but now is has arthritis. I have arthritic pain in many places but the pain in my fingers is increasingly painful.
Sometimes my hands jump or shake or I lose my grip.
I have diabetes but now managed without meds.
I have asthma and a host of allergies.
I have chronic pain from the Fibro as well spinal stenosis, degenerative disc and siatica pain which makes it painful to walk very far.
Many diagnostic guesses, told all in my head 30 years ago when I first got Fibro and I’ve always felt nobody really knew for certain what was happening to me. I was super strong when I was young.
I have sleep problems and haven’t been able to work over the past 6+ years
