- CASE FILE
I am a 42 yr old active woman. Over the past few years I've experienced weird and frustrating conditions.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, hypokalemia, abnormal blood chemistry. My muscles don't work the way they are supposed to. Most of time i have feeling and can't move. My muscles are tight and won't release. Doctor's know something is wrong but can't figure it out. I've had genetic testing and came back variant of unknown significance on CACNA1S, TTN, ITGA7, and GGA. I also have exercise intolerance. I've been to physical therapy. They used a tens unit on my legs and my leg went completely numb. My hands amd feet will also turn blue. The doctors believe i had hypokalemic periodic paralysis but because of genetic testing i have a variant of unknown significance on gene that causes it.
