ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I contracted parasites in 2008, in an overseas military assignment, that lead to severe stomach pain and a lot of blood in the stool. From there I started having trouble sleeping where is where I was diagnosed with insomnia. I also started developing anxiety and stomach issues. I was medicated for all of these issues. Within a few months, it started becoming very difficult to exercise. I would over heat very quickly, my heart rate would rise drastically, and it would trigger a migraine. Migraines started becoming a frequent thing. Within a year, I had gained weight, my periods had become irregular, I had pain everywhere, and I started having significant memory problems. It is not 11 years later and things have gotten so much worse. I am almost 100 lbs heavier than I was before this started. Now I have chronic stomach pain and nausea. I get migraines so often that I can't work. I have inappropriate sinus tachycardia, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, borderline prediabetic, chronic widespread pain, anxiety to the point that I don't like leaving the house, swelling in my hands and feet with loss of sensation periodically. I developed thoracic outlet syndrome that I have had surgery on. I have irregular periods with significant pelvic pain. I feel as if my insides are falling out of me pain. I have constant pain in my whole body that worsens with extreme heat or cold. I have a very hard time concentrating or recalling simple details. I get brain fog and brain zaps a lot of the time. My thoughts are constantly racing and very disorganized. I will sometimes get suddenly confused at where I am and what I am doing and I feel panic.
