ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Starting in November 2018 I started having pain in my chest while swallowing. It is left side chest pain right next to the sternum near my heart. A month later it got worse. That is when the back pain started. The chest pain shoots straight through right into my back at the same level where the chest pain is. In between my left shoulder blade and spine. A couple months after that I started only swallowing down the left side of my throat. It's like my right side doesn't work at all. When the food goes down the esophagus it goes down the left side of the chest not the middle of the chest like it used to. My throat is even misaligned. When I swallow or move my throat up and down it moves to the left like something is pulling my throat to the left. It's been 9 months and is not getting any better. I have seen cardiologists, ENTs, neurologists, chiropractors, and gastroenterologists. I have had CT scans of my neck done. MRI of my neck, MRI of my back, MRI on my cervical spine, barium swallows, and endoscopies. No one can figure out what's wrong.
