Losing mobility quickly, becoming weaker and weaker
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Sorry, most of the symptoms and diagnoses where not available from the list, so here they are:
Unspecified Clotting Disorder
Vestibular Balance disorder
Mylopathy of unkown cause / unknown disease progression
To sum it up, I've lost the use of the fronts of my feet and the backs of my feet, balance is getting worse and worse, no reflexes in ankles and slight in knees. Legs are turning dark blue. I have palpatations and feel as if I'm going to pass out ALOT. Stronger and Stronger fevers. Getting weaker and weaker. Severe constipation. I've clotted from my renal veins to my feet. I get strong head rushes out of nowhere and come close to blacking out. Too many symptoms to list and starting to feel as like if someone doesn't figure this out soon I feel like I may not make the next five years.
For may years I've been brushed off with having lyme disease. Went through two treatments of IV antibiotics and as the years have passed, my symptoms have been getting worse and worse and new ones have appeared. I've been to multiple rhuematologists, orthopedics, surgeons, general practitioners and wind up with diagnoses such as :
1. You have lyme get treated. Infectious disease doctor said stop coming to him.
3. Some unknown clotting disorder they just can't figure out.
4. An unknown disease process causing a myelopathy of unknown cause.
5. Your taking to many pain meds, thats your problem.
6. Maybe m.s.?
9. See a therapist, it's in your head.
Deep vein and superficial reflux
I could go on with the list, but I have done everything I've been asked, I've taking all medications prescribed to include my current antimalarial medication. I am hoping that not just might my case be selected, but maybe on the off chance someone else reading this may have the same thing and know what it is. I just turned 50 and can't walk through the grocery store, lost my job, living on disability, need regular everyday help with household chores. I'm in constant pain especially in the outsides of my lower legs laterally. It literally feels like something is eating away at the muscles of my legs. I'm getting nervous I will have a severe head rush and blackout episode that will leave me injured, or since I live alone, I won't be found for days. As with others that are going through what I am, it is frustrating having to rely on others for help with simple tasks, or even an outing and having to get pushed in a wheelchair because I can't keep up with my family or missing out on things because I know I won't be able to handle the drive or be able to walk.
