ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
It all started with headaches and memory issues. Then one day I was driving my kids to school and I didn't know where I was or what I was doing. My then 7-year-old daughter had to help me drive her to school. I saw specialists and they tested me for everything from lupus to Lyme disease. They settled on Fibromyalgia because they didn't know what was causing it. There are times when I can't speak. I think I'm talking correctly but what other's hear is just gibberish. I've had MRIs and CT scans all come back normal. For years I've lived in constant pain. I stopped working full time because the anxiety I feel over my symptoms got to be too much for me. I never know when I'm speaking like I'm drunk and it can be embarrassing. I don't go out with friends as much either because of that. My physical activity is limited because of extreme fatigue and my tendency to fall. I just want an answer because what if this is hereditary? I wouldn't wish my life on my worst enemy.
