ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Since 2016, I have been having one issue after another. I have been to many specialists all over and no one can give me a diagnosis. Some weeks are better than others, but the flare up weeks prevent me from normal living as well as my job. I am a very active person and I work for wildlife organizations. It all started with a ovarian cyst rupture that sent me to the hospital. Eventually I was diagnosed with endometriosis and large cysts were growing. I am currently attempting Lupron which I am severely allergic to. For the second dose I have had to take 3 allergy pills a day as prevention. My severe abdomen pain and inflamed diaphragm are already coming back. I have had a positive ANA on some bloodwork tests while others show negative. My Rheumatologist is constantly trying to help me, but there are no direct answers so he is treating me based on symptoms. He believes I have lupus. I currently am on 100mg of Imuran every day. It helps to a point, but without it I suffer with even more severe flare ups and fatigue. When I get a flare up, I feel as if I have the worst sickness in the world, I cannot move or eat, and my arms and legs feel extremely swollen but they do not look swollen. On top of that it feels like someone is stabbing my arms and legs. This all keeps me from moving for hours. Gastroparesis has been a battle. Some days I can barely eat whereas others I can eat a lot. I try to stick to gluten free and easily digestible foods. The worst pain I have is severe deep inner ear pain that radiates in the canal. I bought a pillow with a hole in it to try to alleviate pressure at night, but nothing helps. The pain is the worst at night when I sleep and continues for half of the day. All of my ear tests are normal and they believe it is related to autoimmune. I am always a question mark. I never give up in trying to find relief.
