ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I had a car accident in 2003. 8 months later after symptoms progressed and could no longer walk, I was in the first and several spine surgeries. I was an RN at the time and have now landed on Disability due to the excruciating pain everyday in my thoracic and lumber spine and legs. I have nerve damage in my leg. I’ve seen about 17 different specialists trying to treat the pain and get back some quality of life. I’ve been on every narcotic medicine at one time or another, had an itrathecal pump implant that landed me in the ICU 9 days post surgery, in a coma for 2 days until it was removed. I’ve been told I have AS, degenerative disc disease and any physician I’ve seen stated that I’m too young for a spinal fusion. I get bounced all around til 16 years later I’m on disability, can’t make any plans, still on rotating medications and now I’ve gotten so discouraged and fed up that I’ve gone on Suboxone cause living on narcotic meds are NO way to live and take care of my family. I would just like some quality of life back! I have several MRI’s and other tests results and reports I can submit if y’all can help in any way. Please help me get some form of my life back. I miss being the person to take care and serve others! Thank you!
