Frequent spells of headaches, profuse sweating, tachycardia, and palpitations.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Muliple hospitalizations for hypertensive crisis and tachycardia along with headache and dizziness. Bloodwork shows elevated plasma metanephrines. 24 hour urine shows elevated metanephrines and normetanephrines ×3. Abdominal CT is negative for adrenal mass/Pheochromocytoma. Blood pressure (somewhat) controlled on five BP meds. No further imaging ordered. Awaiting referral to Duke Endocrinology.
