EDS type 3: constant pain, deterioration and fibromyalgia
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Had significant body pain that changes locations and never goes away. This began when I was 13 years old and was originally diagnosed as reflex sympathetic neurodystrophy. While the diagnosis changed over time to fibromyalgia and, as of 5 years ago, Ehlers Danlos type 3, I continue to have worse daily pain and deterioration. I have had 4 reconstructive surgeries on different body parts in the past 5 years and now need another. My significant pain and lack of temperature control leads to migraines, vomiting and a lot of ER visits with nothing that helps. I see so many drs, take so many meds and can’t find anything that helps. I hope you can.
