Being told there is nothing more docs in NC can do.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
My 41 year old husband has a schwannoma tumor that broke his c1 vertebrae before being found 4 and a half years ago. He has under sent 2 unsuccessful surgeries to try and remove it. We are now being told they can't figure out what to do for him. An EMG shows his sciatic nerve is 100% damage but his symptoms do not match the emg nor mri. So again being told that have no idea what to do. He goes to a pain clinic, had injections done for both neck and back (Si joint) pain, seen a spine doc, 3 tumor docs at Duke, seen neurologist, neurosurgeons, had cts, mri, and emg done. He is in constant pain but is on strong pain meds. Been lied to by surgeons at Carolina neurosurgery and spine. Saying they removed it all but yet it's been a lil over 2 years since last surgery and it's bigger than ever. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE help us get answers and hopefully some relief. It's taken 4 and a half years but he is qualified as disabled.
