- CASE FILE
I have been dealing with chronic foot pain for 20 years. I have had nerve test, foot surgery and tried every orthodox. They do not know why.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Severe foot pain in both feet. While walking it does not bother me. If I stand still I have to keep moving my feet or I will be hurting much worse later. When I stand up it’s difficult to take steps. I have been to the doctors tried medication but nothing works. Had surgery on both feet it helped for a while but pain returned. I have tried hundreds of shoes but the pain always returns. Tried every comfort insert and have found 2 that work for a while but I am buying shoes and inserts every 2-3 months. Foot X-rays, nerve biopsies, nerve conduction test all come back good. No arthritis.
After I had doctors tell me no idea what it could be I have found ways to deal with it. I know standing still makes it worse so I constantly move. It has impacted my life significantly. Sometimes my feet hurt so bad I just want to sit but even then I have pain. Even right now typing this it’s 5am and I have a dull constant pain in both of my feet. Nothing helps. I have just learned to deal with it. I have also spent countless hours trying to self diagnose on the internet. I can not afford doctors and they look at me with a blank stare as if I am lying. I had o e doctor who listened and discussed with me about a 1960’s report in which sounded like my symptoms but even he said nothing can be done. Thank you for your time just maybe someone has seen or found a remedy for my symptoms.
