ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
This started in December'16/January'17 with 2 episodes of extreme stomach pain, fever, and body aches and chills. I started noticing a narrowing sensation in my throat soon after, probably around March'17, after eating along with some of the symptoms above plus some. An EGD showed hiatal hernia and ulcers. I saw an ENT soon after that, no obvious problems with my throat, a normal swallow study and normal ultrasound of my thyroid. An internist suggested an MRT panel which showed food intolerances/sensitivities. My allergist thinks Mast Cell Disorder, referred me to hematology for bone marrow biopsy which was clear of abnormalities. At my BMB follow up, hematologist referral back to allergist. MY ALLERGIST had a doctor's appointment on the day of my appointment so she had a "fill-in" physician who referred me for ENT, DERMATOLOGY, and GASTROENTEROLOGY. Fill-in physician also mentions a Mast Cell Guru in Tennessee. My mast cell labs are indicative of mast cell trouble, a clear BMB is indicative of no mast cell trouble.
Diagnosed with silent reflux, vocal cord disfunction, and Elevated serum tryptase so far.
