- CASE FILE
Years of constipation, abdominal pain, bloating, recent back pain/burning, and nausea off and on, chronic fatigue
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
Constipation and bloating was an issue my entire life, I would have severe attacks of abdominal pain at random throughout childhood into my teens and adulthood, doctors said I was a “gassy kid”, “was starting a stomach ulcer” “nervous stomach” “poor diet” “eating disorder” “irritable bowel”. In January symptoms increased in intensity and became daily, to the point of food avoidance due to the intense pains that came after eating and my back was hurting constantly.. I also started having constant pain in my sternum area and all along where my bra sits.. I googled all my issues and then went to my new doctor where she ordered a CT scan, thankfully the Radiologist saw a compression in my Celiac Artery caused by the Median Arcuate Ligament. I was referred to a Vascular Surgeon and had A CTA which showed a major compression and a lager aneurysm. I had surgery and am now free from pain from my condition!! So many people suffer and are so sick from this same syndrome. I want more Doctors to see that this effects more of the population than they think, it’s not that rare, just rarely diagnosed.
