- CASE FILE
I am eighteen and have tried everything. Doctors have started calling is "Bailey-itis" and I just want to know what I have.
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I have many conditions and I am not sure if they are linked or not. My migraines have sent me to the ER three times in one week more than once. I have tried all kinds of meds/cocktails, even botox and the new medicine Amiviog. Nothing has worked. I've had MRIs that showed nothing more than 'white fuzzies'. It is the main cause of my ailments. My endometriosis may be fixed with medicine, the only problem is it affects my migraines. So I am unable to get ease for any of my issues. I am always nauseous, especially with motion (I even get carsick when I am driving) and every day I wonder which illness will get to me first. But I also have conditions, such as, continuous stomach problems that are not IBS, and leave me whithering in pain or on the toilet for hours. I have struggled with stomach issues since I was 4 yrs old. I've been tested for everything, including a colonoscopy at 10 years old. Nothing was found. I can have constipation and diarrhea in the same day...in just a few hours. My stomach issues have earned me permanent restroom passes in grade school. I can spend 30 mins or more on the toilet at a time. Every time I've been tested, my vitamin levels are extremely low because, as one doctor informed me, that pooping depleted me of my vitamins. I've also had my thyroid tested many times and until the most recent time, it's been fine. It's slightly 'off' now. I also struggle with weight when everyone else in my family has been underweight as kids/teens.
