I am a 9 year survivor of lung cancer and I am disabled by my cure. Oxygen dependent with rapid rate and unable to do anything
ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I had surgery to remove my right lung. I had many issues during recovery. However I had a inappropriate tachycardia. It has been relatively well controlled. I have remained Oxygen dependent. Recently, if Im sitting quietly I could maintain a sat above 90. Now, as soon as I stand my rate jumps to 100-115 and if I walk to the bathroom my saturation drops to low 60s. I am trying pulmonary rehab again and I am able to exercise with 12-15 liters. Everyone jumps right on a breathing treatment. After 10 years I am still convinced this is heart rate driven. I am unable to function and feel I am circling the drain.
