I had a total thyroidectomy February 2016. I have had Hypothyroidism since April 2016, and have severely gotten worse since . I have been to 5 different Endocrinologist since. It has made and caused numerous other conditions worsen . I am unable to absorb oral levothyroxine . I can only absorb Levothyroxine and some other medications intravenously. I was told this type of this was unheard of . I’ve had numerous test and studies done. I have been suffering from this disease and numerous severe symptoms since . I am nauseous , lethargic , lack motivation, memory loss , appetite loss, joint swelling and pain, intolerance to heat & cold, muscle weakness, vomiting, and falling everyday. I am in a constant battle with myself to get through day to day. I have been told this is unheard of and only have been 2 cases in Europe like my own but those ladies were previously diagnosed with thyroid cancer and I was not. I am at a loss and so is every doctor I come in counter with. I’ve had numerous test, blood test, and procedures. I am in need of help to know if I am able to be cured or at least get a thyroid hormone into my body. I am currently on 500mg of Levothyroixine in a shot form that is still unable to absorb into my body.
