ABOUT THIS CASE FILE
I’m a 59 year old man, diagnosed in March of 2019 with POTS syndrome. After having a tilt table test. I’ve had severe headaches which I’m seeing a Neurologist for which he prescribed topamax for which is helping. My cardiologist has put me on a beta blocker for heart palpitations which is helping some. But I still have issues with low and high blood pressure, low pulse rates daily. I I have no energy. It’s hard to breathe, if I get up to quick I am dizzy and almost pass out. I have cold feet to where they hurt all the time. Pain in my sides, heart rate in the 40s. Sweats and chills. I have been diagnosed with pelvic floor disorder. I have had back and neck fusion. Exploratory abdominal surgery were my gallbladder and appendix were removed and some scar tissue from my intestines. I’ve been treated for diabetes and low testosterone for years. But endrocronologist took me off both medications. I have been off them for over a year. I’ve have had 2 mylograms which both leaked but I only had a blood patch on one. I’ve had 3 discograms. Many swallowing studies,MRI’S,breathing tests and PET SCAN for a lung nodule that showed normal but had uptake in my thyroid. Lung nodule is being monitored Dr. Says it a crystular granularnoma. Im unable to work my heart palpitations , breathing won’t let me walk or stand for very long. I have no stamina, cloudy thinking, tired, trouble sleeping, depressed. I feel that there is an underlying condition that no one is addressing. I hope that someone has some answers for me. Thank you for your time.
